A new kitchen doesn`t mean that you need to throw it all out and build a brand new one. Here is a perfect example on how you can reuse the base cabinets and change the fronts. Swedish Superfront has made a living of producing fronts, handles and legs compatible with Ikeas kitchen and Bestå cabinets. It might not be the cheapest way of redoing you kitchen, but you still get points for reusing the base though ;) In this kitchen they have used the harlequin fronts together with the circus and holy wafer handles and captain legs on the wall cabinet. Marble on the countertop and as a backsplash just proves there is no such thing as too much marble but i also love how the kitchen table bindes it all together with its color and shape. Love love love this!

(and no, this is not an ad-post or at least not a paid one ;))

  1. Wow... What a beautiful and inspiring post. The pictures are gorgeous & they make it very easy to envision a modern twist on Scandinavian design in my own kitchen. I believe there is a remodel in my very near future :)

    1. I`m so glad you liked it :) The kitchen is truly beautiful and i, who used to hate marble, loves everything about it. And it is so delightful to see every time a modern kitchen is placed in a old century apartment and it works, the contrasts are really striking. Good luck with your own little project and thank you so much for your comment on the post :)

      Love, Therese
